We already got a teaser back in February that gave us a glimpse of retro-futuristic New York City in the 1960s.
The Fantastic Four, Reed Richards / Mr. Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Sue Richards / The Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm / The Human Torch (Joesph Quinn) and Ben Grimm / The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) are already well established as protectors of the planet, and beloved by the NYC residents.

In this latest trailer, several key details are confirmed: Reed and Sue are expecting a child, and the Silver Surfer will be portrayed by the female version of the character, Shalla Bal, played by Julia Garner. For those BIG MAD about this, it is something that has already happened in the comics.

Galactus Takes His First Steps On Earth
She comes bearing bad news that her boss, Galactus (Ralph Ineson), is on the way to munch on the planet, but Mr. Fantastic vows to protect the people of Earth.

Another first in the new trailer is that we finally get to see Pedro Pascal’s Mr.Fantastic show off his stretching abilities, and the CGI looks impressive.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps will somehow take us directly into Avengers: Doomsday, where we will meet Tony Stark’s Iron Man, or rather, Doctor Doom, allowing us to understand what he meant when he said, “new mask, same task.”
