Mayor Brandon Scott Pins Uplifting Message To Black Women: ‘This Country Does Not Deserve Black Women’

After a few days of mixed emotions following the results of the presidential election, Mayor Brandon Scott is standing up for black women across the nation.
While many are still coping with the Vice President Kamala Harris loss to Donald Trump, Mayor Scott shared an uplifting video on Instagram speaking directly to black women.

“They alone, can’t be soul of this democracy. They alone can’t save us from ourselves, time and time again,” Mayor Scott said in the two minute video shared on his personal account.

Despite the backlash he may face, Mayor Scott continues to be voice for those who may go unheard!
