The head of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, the regional accrediting body that covers Florida and 10 other states, has warned Florida Gov. Rick Scott that Florida A&M University’s standing could be in jeopardy if the board of trustees follows his recommendation to suspend FAMU President James Ammons at this time.
